French Crêpe Family Recipe

This recipe is a childhood favorite! My mom would make this on Sunday nights growing up and we would then get to have crêpes every morning that week since the batter stays good for about 5 days. It also gets better and better :)

The best part is it only needs 5 ingredients (I don’t count water) and you probably already have all of these on hand!

Recipe:
-1cup milk 🥛
-1cup water 💦
-4 eggs 🥚
-1 cup flour 🌾
-2tbsp melted butter 🧈
-pinch of sea salt 🧂

You can add whatever you want to these which is why I love them, I usually do ham, egg and cheese and then have a sweet one for dessert with butter and sugar.. yummm

Mix all of your ingredients together in a blender except for the melted butter. Then add the melted butter but only for a quick pulse - you don’t want to blend it in too much.
Set the batter aside in the fridge overnight or for at least 4hrs, believe me this is KEY!
Heat up your pan and liberally butter it so the batter doesn’t stick. The first crepe will ALWAYS be a « taste test » crepe and won’t look great, you won’t want to serve it but the second one is always the winner!
